Starting his path at ZF more than 25 years ago, Werner Engl gained extensive experience in the field of Sales. Beginning his career in the ZF Group as Manager Marketing & Sales Promotion of ZF Italia, further positions in Sales followed. First, he worked as Vice-President Sales & Application with focus on Transmissions for Commercial Vehicles, then he was appointed responsible for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as Key Account Executive Sales & Customer Development until 2019.

In his position as Head of Sales AD Systems, he has now been passionately driving the topic of autonomous driving for two years.
