Racquel Asa

Racquel firmly believes that a comprehensive approach to implementing autonomous mobility needs to include a community-focused education and readiness effort to increase rider adoption and understanding.

Prior to joining Beep, Racquel was an award-winning transportation journalist at the forefront of every major transportation development and initiative in Florida, operating as one of the most well-informed sources in the industry.  It was during her time as a journalist that she covered the launch and growth of Beep, extensively covering the first vehicles launched in Lake Nona. She has since helped Beep launch every project site across the country with a community-first approach across six states.

Racquel has been recognized by the Orlando Business Journal, Women In Transportation, and Congressional leadership during Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Her advocacy for safer streets and new innovative solutions to improve mobility align with Beep’s mission to create a transportation solution that is safe, sustainable, and efficient. Racquel holds a Master of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts in degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law
