Christine serves as the FDOT State Connected Mobility and Technologies Engineer. She passionately provides statewide leadership for the development and implementation of the processes the Department utilizes to advance the Connected Automated Vehicle (CAV) program in Florida, along with the relevant supporting technologies. Besides CAV program, Christine is also responsible for leading multiple crucial programs within FDOT including the Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSM&O) Software, the Statewide Arterial Management, the Wrong Way Driving, and the Managed Lanes programs.
Christine is a seasoned Engineer with a deep passion for innovation and building high-performing teams. Throughout her 18-year career dedicated to serving the state of Florida, she has held a variety of positions, bringing valuable public sector perspectives to each initiative, including her former role as FDOT’s State TSM&O Software Engineer. In this capacity she oversaw the operations, stakeholder coordination and improvements of the multiple traffic engineering and operations statewide software. Her previous experience includes managing multiple multimillion-dollar construction projects. Prior to that, she gained extensive experience at FDOT, which included roles in Program Management Office, as well as Planning and Design Offices.
Christine has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Her eagerness to learn and her passion have enabled her to possess many certifications including Florida Professional Engineer, Certified Public Manager, Florida Certified Contract Manager, Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional, and Florida Certified Contract Negotiator.
